In the 11th minute, Luciano Mano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cortamambo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gregorio Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Guerau having to interfere. A collision led to Chinguillos AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Guaberto Feliu hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Benjamin Ado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Guerau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 21 minutes on the clock, Gogo Izotz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chinguillos AFC! 25 minutes into the match, Gregorio Telesforo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nemesio Guerau. Chinguillos AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Telesforo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Freddy Vincente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Freddy Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Dolcet to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gregorio Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortamambo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Telesforo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Guerau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauro Maxin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Hector Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortamambo's goalkeeper Clodoveo Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hector Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Clodoveo Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Dolcet took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Flor. Clodoveo Flor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Cortamambo defense, Hector Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clodoveo Flor. The Cortamambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clodoveo Flor should have stopped the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Mauro Maxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cortamambo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Maxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Chinguillos AFC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Guaberto Feliu hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Cortamambo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chinguillos AFC.
