El Arrayán's Clemente Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Mogel in the 58th minute of play. Federico Ekhi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arturo Bernaldo came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Ekhi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 62nd minute. Naum Novoselski struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Clemente Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. Octavio Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Clemente Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Arrayán were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Boca Juniors's much stronger midfield.
