Oscar Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Flynn having to interfere. When Oscar Telmo in the 15th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Neil Flynn kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Neil Flynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Telmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Nafarroa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Neil Flynn made a huge save. Neil Flynn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Nafarroa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Game Theory Optimal getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Damian Normando hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Game Theory Optimal got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Costante. Oscar Telmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Camerino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victoriano Oihan went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Normando in the 35th minute of play forced Keto FC's goalkeeper Neil Flynn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Damian Normando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Game Theory Optimal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Normando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilfredo Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Flynn having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Victoriano Oihan made the kick off in the second half. Neil Flynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 55th minute of play. Bonifacio Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neil Flynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 61st minute of the match. Keto FC's Neil Flynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 68th minute of play. Damian Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Wilfredo Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Flynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neil Flynn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 90th minute of the match. If Isaias Rik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Wilfredo Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neil Flynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 minutes, Raul Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Game Theory Optimal and the Keto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Game Theory Optimal got a freekick which was hit by Raul Romero. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Game Theory Optimal had played much better football throughout.
