The referee showed Leopoldo Remigio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sinsacote getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leopoldo Remigio hit a great ball. Vladimiro Menendo took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Iratzeder. When Justino Pacho fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinsacote's protests and gave Justino Pacho a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Sinsacote:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tatengue FC:s goal. Bruno Pierres made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Pastor Quico sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Tatengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Larpe came free, but Bruno Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tatengue FC's Bruno Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Larpe in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Fulgencio Pitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Alvaro Leoiar in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tatengue FC's Edgard Meder. If Pastor Quico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Tatengue FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bruno Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute.
