Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Ezequiel Oier fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmas's protests and gave Ezequiel Oier a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredo Hug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Aritza having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Adrian Policarpio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmas and the Club atletico Verdolaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorio Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Savion in the 36th minute of the match. Adrian Policarpio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Ignado. Esteve Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Hug in the 41st minute of the match. Cornelio Su recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Baldomero Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club atletico Verdolaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Savion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Hug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Delmiro Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Esteve Aritza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Honorio Frederico throw himself and got hold of the ball when Humberto Bitxintxo in the 56thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Alfredo Hug hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Club atletico Verdolaga's Esteve Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Hug in the 72nd minute of play. Baldomero Savion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adrian Policarpio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. After 76 played minutes Palmas got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Policarpio. After some careless play in the Palmas defense, Baldomero Savion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Frederico. The Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Frederico should have stopped the shot. Honorio Frederico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Esteve Aritza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Pitin went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Claudio Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Bitxintxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Frederico made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Baldomero Savion sent off a good shot on target. Claudio Ignado might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Ignado ran back to his position shaking his head. Club atletico Verdolaga were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
