The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Pitin got free with Atilano Tomi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute, Enzo Remicio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Nicasio Dolfos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLUB COMUNICACIONES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Dolfos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Ignado's late challenge caught a CLUB COMUNICACIONES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Frederico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Hug to strike the kick off in the second half. Damian Kaxen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Alfredo Hug received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Atilano Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Pitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes, Palmas's Zacarias Pagomari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilano Tomi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palmas reached it. A collision led to CLUB COMUNICACIONES getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Enzo Remicio hit a great ball. Enzo Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Frederico having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CLUB COMUNICACIONES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
