Donato Pirmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Giro in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Enrique Sagrario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CuyayaSports the free kick. A collision led to Pilón AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Enrique Sagrario hit a great ball. Donato Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Sagrario in the 9th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Daniel Enetz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Rigoberto Quentin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. CuyayaSports's Donato Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Nalo in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Alejo Salbatore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CuyayaSports's Donato Pirmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Salbatore in the 37th minute of play. Donato Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Daniel Enetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 55 minutes, Octavio Bernaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CuyayaSports and the Pilón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Octavio Bernaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Salbatore in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Pirmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nunez Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CuyayaSports's zone, Enrique Sagrario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Pirmin came out of the goal and Enrique Sagrario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Pilón AFC's Alejo Salbatore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Pirmin. Donato Pirmin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 66 minutes into the game, Pilón AFC's Enrique Sagrario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Pirmin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Pilón AFC's zone, Nunez Ekaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Mundo came out of the goal and Nunez Ekaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Donato Pirmin managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Pilón AFC's Enrique Sagrario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donato Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Salbatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Fermin Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zviadi Machaidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. CuyayaSports's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Alejo Salbatore 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. 87 minutes into the match, Pilón AFC's Alejo Salbatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Pirmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pilón AFC's Laureano Mundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Enetz in the 91st minute of play. The Pilón AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pilón AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
