The wind increased when Serafino Transito made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Ponce in the 57th minute of play forced Ragusa's goalkeeper Anibal Haimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Transito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modesto Luar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Arnoldo Oier could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Modesto Luar however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Ragusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ragusa defense, Mariano Ruy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Haimar. The Ragusa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Haimar should have stopped the shot. Rivadavia's Alonzo Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafino Transito's late challenge caught a Rivadavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Transito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ragusa's Serafino Transito got a free kick in the 76th minute. Anibal Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Ponce in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Ragusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Jacob to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Haimar having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Ponce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Haimar was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Rivadavia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ragusa for a fine match.
