When Julian Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Pucara's protests and gave Julian Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. Ragusa's Anibal Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Sol in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Epifanio Efraim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ragusa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Pucara the free kick. After 19 played minutes Ragusa got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Efraim. Cosme Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Haimar having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Cosme Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Pucara's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anibal Haimar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Atletico Pucara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Abajas to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Ragusa's Serafino Transito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Primitivo Kusko. Primitivo Kusko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 45th match minute, Atletico Pucara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Abadie to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cosme Santos made a kick off. If Cosme Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 53 minutes, Cosme Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Pucara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Kusko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Atletico Pucara getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Julian Abajas hit a great ball. Dionisio Abadie was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, one of Atletico Pucara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atletico Pucara. Primitivo Kusko came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ragusa's Rodolfo Dominic. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Dominic quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ragusa's Anibal Haimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ragusa from getting a goal against them. After 78 minutes, Jonathan Tirso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Pucara and the Ragusa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute Arnoldo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Kusko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ragusa fully deserved thier win.
