Carrodilla's Armando Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Txanton in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barrancas's Silverio Escobar got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Gaston Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Augusto de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Quinteros in the 65th minute. Epifanio Eguerdi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Barrancas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Nef. In the 90th match minute, Carrodilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Faro to maneuver through the defense.
