When Amancio Gaizko came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the RACING1967 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Gaizko couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sinsacote's Silvio Oidor got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Ospin in the 86th minute of play forced RACING1967's goalkeeper Astor Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Roman Indartsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RACING1967's Astor Ourente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amancio Gaizko was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After having played for 92 minutes, Tiburcio Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING1967's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Tebaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Oidor charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Oidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of RACING1967 booed when Sinsacote was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Oidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Tebaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Anibal Cuarto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Sinsacote support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
