The referee ignored Tehuelche's protests and gave Marcelino Chico a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes Tehuelche got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Chico. Tiburcio Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Tiburcio Tebaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RACING1967's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Tebaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Amancio Gaizko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Felix Belo, passed just outside the right post. In the 31st minute Juan Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Tehuelche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Chico to maneuver through the defense. RACING1967's Tiburcio Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tehuelche's Tadeo Ostargi got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Tadeo Ostargi off the ground. In the 55th match minute, Tehuelche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Ostargi to maneuver through the defense. Amancio Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Belo having to interfere. In the 59th minute Juan Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tehuelche's zone, Amancio Gaizko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Belo came out of the goal and Amancio Gaizko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Belo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Marino in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, RACING1967's Juan Intxixu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Belo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, German Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiburcio Tebaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Belo having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RACING1967 had played much better football throughout.
