Spectators: 7330 (Terracing: 5499, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enzo Hotz kicked off to start the match. Leon Beti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elida's Leon Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Tebaldo in the 8th minute of play. If Tiburcio Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amancio Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Elida's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Tebaldo came free, but Leon Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Jorge Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RACING1967's Amancio Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Elida's zone, Tiburcio Tebaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Beti came out of the goal and Tiburcio Tebaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leon Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Amancio Gaizko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RACING1967 booed when Elida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Pagomari didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, RACING1967's Lucio Silvino tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, RACING1967's Gaudencio Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Beti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburcio Tebaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Beti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Tebaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, RACING1967's Tiburcio Tebaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leon Beti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburcio Tebaldo scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Beti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Hotz in the 44th minute of play forced RACING1967's goalkeeper Astor Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th match minute, Elida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Jokin to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiburcio Tebaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, RACING1967's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Avellaneda came free, but Astor Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiburcio Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amancio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Avellaneda hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Elida's Leon Beti got control of the ball when Tiburcio Tebaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Everardo Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Elida getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Gregorio Min hit a great ball. Amancio Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Tebaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Beti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Tebaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the game, Amancio Gaizko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leon Beti. Amancio Gaizko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Amancio Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The RACING1967 fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when RACING1967's Tiburcio Tebaldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over RACING1967 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elida throughout the match.
