After a defensive mix-up in Tehuelche's zone, Santiago Txanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Belo came out of the goal and Santiago Txanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Timoteo Munio during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tehuelche's Casimiro Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Tehuelche booed when Barrancas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Nef didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Oscar Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Belo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Timmy Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. After 57 played minutes Tehuelche got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Ostargi. Timmy Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Felix Belo made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Timmy Jakobsson made a precise shot to the right of Felix Belo. Tehuelche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Daniel Nef's late challenge caught a Tehuelche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Nef helped the player get up and apologised. 69 minutes into the game, Tadeo Ostargi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tehuelche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas the free kick. After 69 played minutes Tehuelche got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Ostargi. Santiago Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gaston Blai fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tehuelche's protests and gave Gaston Blai a yellow card for diving instead. Timmy Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Felix Belo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Txanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Txanton in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felix Belo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timmy Jakobsson got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-3 in the right cross in the 91st match minute before Felix Belo had time to react. Tadeo Ostargi was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tadeo Ostargi hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. 98 minutes in the game, Santiago Txanton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Felix Belo having to interfere. Barrancas played a much better game than Tehuelche and deserved their victory. The Tehuelche players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
