The supporters of Genna FC booed when Carugati Junior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Feliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Chale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Emiliano Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Dario Luix put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Genna FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Sauli Sillgren had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Eleuterio Lertxun's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Emiliano Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Rocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Emiliano Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Rocio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Samuel Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sauli Sillgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Carugati Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Ongile came free, but Emiliano Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Rocio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carugati Junior's Emiliano Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Rocio in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Genna FC's goalkeeper Sauli Sillgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Feliu. Sauli Sillgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Ranolfo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Carugati Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Rocio came free, but Emiliano Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Carugati Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Ongile came free, but Emiliano Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Matxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the game, Samuel Arias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sauli Sillgren. Samuel Arias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Lobo made the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Ciriaco Rocio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Carugati Junior getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ildefonso Papo hit a great ball. Severiano Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Matxin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Carugati Junior's zone, Eustacio Ongile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Matxin came out of the goal and Eustacio Ongile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Seber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Matxin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carugati Junior's Marco Feliu got a free kick in the 68th minute. Lucas Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Emiliano Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Seber might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Matxin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Seber ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Genna FC's Hugo Chale got a free kick in the 77th minute. Severiano Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ciriaco Rocio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Rocio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ciriaco Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ciriaco Rocio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Genna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Rocio couldn't finish the play. 93 minutes into the game, Lucas Barea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emiliano Matxin. Lucas Barea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Genna FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
