Spectators: 6864 (Terracing: 5517, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lino Oihan started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Luisito Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yapeyú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luisito Elizardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 minutes, Gaudencio Maura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHORIPANEROS FC and the Yapeyú FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes CHORIPANEROS FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Maura. CHORIPANEROS FC's Roque Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Seber in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Primitivo Beat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, CHORIPANEROS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Seber came free, but Roque Ayala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yapeyú FC's Silvestre Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Yapeyú FC from getting a goal against them. When Julian Romero came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Yapeyú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Romero couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Julian Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Silvestre Chano managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when CHORIPANEROS FC's Lino Oihan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Roque Ayala made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Fabricio Seber sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Seber had several of the CHORIPANEROS FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Roque Ayala as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, CHORIPANEROS FC's Roque Ayala got control of the ball when Fabricio Seber tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, CHORIPANEROS FC's Ceferino Eyague got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Lino Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Silvestre Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yapeyú FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
