With a left leg Erubiel Monte saved C.A.Amigos G.a.p from getting behind. Erubiel Monte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Orlondon, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that James Madison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erubiel Monte was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. C.A.Amigos G.a.p's Erubiel Monte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şansal Dalga in the 16th minute of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Şansal Dalga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Amigos G.a.p's Erubiel Monte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şansal Dalga in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Monte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şansal Dalga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erubiel Monte having to make a save. In the 25th minute Şansal Dalga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Monte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Monte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şansal Dalga went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Orlondon during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruben Orlondon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, C.A.Amigos G.a.p was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şansal Dalga's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Ruben Orlondon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Club San Martin de Salta were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Franco to make the kick off. The attack was good, but when Şansal Dalga in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Erubiel Monte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şansal Dalga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Ramiro Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Matro in the 61st minute of play. Hugo Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Şansal Dalga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When James Madison came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Club San Martin de Salta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Madison couldn't finish the play. Şansal Dalga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Erubiel Monte made a huge save. Şansal Dalga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 71st playminute. James Madison's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erubiel Monte firmly grabbed it by the left post. 78 minutes into the match, Şansal Dalga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erubiel Monte, 1-5. In the 83rd minute, Şansal Dalga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club San Martin de Salta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Şansal Dalga put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Erubiel Monte. 95 minutes into the game, Şansal Dalga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Erubiel Monte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club San Martin de Salta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
