Casimiro Dodorol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Rioja in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Pinares FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Donato Txomin scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Dodorol, making the score, 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Los Pinares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Txomin came free, but Casimiro Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pinares FC's zone, Celestino Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Dodorol came out of the goal and Celestino Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Armando Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Los Pinares FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Teyo to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Córdoba City FC had won after a very even match.
