Rosa's Gaspar Cresencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Handi in the 31st minute of play. After 68 played minutes, Rosa's Emiliano Salvidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arsenio Cordarrel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosa reached it. After some careless play in the Trainspotting defense, Arturo Leheren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Cordarrel. Rosa's Gaspar Cresencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Rosa from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rosa had won after a very even match.
