Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Nicholas to make the kick off. Martin Ricart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Ekain in the 54th minute of the match. Cristo Ekain spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Sol y Verde Fc.'s goal. 58 minutes into the match, Placido Frasquito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Ricart. Sol y Verde Fc.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Frasquito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Celófan FC's Filomeno Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Nicholas in the 67th minute of play. Vinicio Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Esiquio having to interfere. The referee showed Santo Gaztea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Santo Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Egoitz during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Celófan FC booed when Sol y Verde Fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes, Rodolfo Chuan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Celófan FC and the Sol y Verde Fc. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Celófan FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Chuan. Celófan FC's Filomeno Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Nicholas in the 97th minute of play.
