Fabiano Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Los Santos de Nuñez's Severiano Matxin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CHICAGO FC. Rigoberto Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fabiano Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Godfredo Unax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Santos de Nuñez and the CHICAGO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godfredo Unax hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Evelio Tiadoro fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHICAGO FC's protests and gave Evelio Tiadoro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CHICAGO FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Evelio Tiadoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 陆悦适. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Tiadoro ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigoberto Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Macedo having to interfere. When Los Santos de Nuñez's Nemesio Aimar in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Mikeldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 95thth minute of the game Evelio Tiadoro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Santos de Nuñez's 陆悦适 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Evelio Tiadoro came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the CHICAGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Tiadoro couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
