Pedro Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Nicholas in the 6th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hector Nicholas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Odol. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Martin Ricart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Odol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Nicholas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Raul Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Augusto Marko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Pedro Odol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvio Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ricart having to interfere. Jonathan Cuarto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee gave Rivadavia FC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raul Bizi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sol y Verde Fc.'s Martin Ricart. 2-1. Rivadavia FC's Pedro Odol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Nicholas in the 40th minute of play. Augusto Marko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Pedro Odol made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Raul Bizi made the kick off in the second half. Raul Bizi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Martin Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Raul Bizi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Ricart. Sol y Verde Fc.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raul Bizi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Martin Ricart came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Rivadavia FC's Raul Bizi. But to his dismay, Raul Bizi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rivadavia FC made a substitution. Bonifacio Berbiz replaced Bruno Fidensio. Rivadavia FC's Raul Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rivadavia FC's Alejandro Silbestre was substituted for Genaro Suero. Pedro Odol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Lekubegi in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sol y Verde Fc.'s zone, Raul Bizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Ricart came out of the goal and Raul Bizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Calvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Martin Ricart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Opilano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Ricart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Raul Bizi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rivadavia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
