Filomeno Esiquio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gipuzkoa in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Fernando Gipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segunda Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Gipuzkoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Esiquio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filomeno Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Gombal in the 15th minute of play. Norberto Gombal scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Esiquio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Perico charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Perico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Celófan FC's Bernardo Perico got a free kick in the 19th minute. A collision led to Celófan FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Aaron Urtungo hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Fernando Gipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Gipuzkoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Segunda Sur's Hugo Calvino got control of the ball when Cristo Ekain tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Gipuzkoa to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Segunda Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Ekain came free, but Hugo Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Perico in the 54th minute of play forced Segunda Sur's goalkeeper Hugo Calvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Calvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Ekain's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of Segunda Sur booed when Celófan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Frasquito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Ekain in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Celófan FC's Santo Gaztea got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 88th minute Cristo Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Segunda Sur walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
