Gaston Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno de Salles in the 3rd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Navarro's Angel Min sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Iago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Froilan Adrio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaston Arano was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Froilan Adrio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Los Santos de Nuñez's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Antônio Carlos Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro Cefero hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Aquilino Cayo could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Gaston Arano however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Navarro's goalkeeper Gaston Arano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Adrio. Navarro's Gaston Arano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Adrio in the 32nd minute of play. Mauro Cefero's late challenge caught a Navarro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Cefero helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angel Min stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Guifre hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Navarro's Erich Wiesenhofer got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Los Santos de Nuñez's zone, Angel Min stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Iago came out of the goal and Angel Min tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaston Arano came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Santos de Nuñez's Froilan Adrio. But to his dismay, Froilan Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65thth minute of the game Froilan Adrio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navarro's Gaston Arano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Magno de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Navarro's Gaston Arano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Navarro's goal looked a bit too open when Magno de Salles came free, but Gaston Arano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Los Santos de Nuñez's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Angel Min fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Navarro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Erich Wiesenhofer hit a great ball. Bruno Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Aquilino Cayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Santos de Nuñez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Antônio Carlos Recife took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Arano. Gaston Arano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Aquilino Cayo took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Arano.
