Spectators: 7372 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Ladio kicked off to start the match. 10 minutes into the match, Gaston Ladio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cosme Euloxu, 1-0. Gustavo Goito shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Gaspar Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Frías FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Naelio couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Hermengildo Pio made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Ilixo. Ranser FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Celedonio Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Baleren in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Gaspar Naelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Ilixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ranser FC's Sixto Jacindo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cosme Euloxu. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. When Abelardo Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranser FC's protests and gave Abelardo Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Frías FC booed when Ranser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ranser FC's zone, Hermengildo Pio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Ilixo came out of the goal and Hermengildo Pio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Ilixo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Estevez in the 33rd minute of the match. Sixto Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Euloxu having to interfere. Celedonio Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Baleren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaspar Naelio was the one to do the kick off. Sixto Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Euloxu having to interfere. Prospero Mouricio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Sixto Jacindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranser FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Jacindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Euloxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Ranser FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Ilixo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermengildo Pio. Ranser FC's Celedonio Ilixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Naelio in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th match minute Gustavo Goito ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Celedonio Ilixo. 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Pio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Ilixo. Ranser FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermengildo Pio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paolo Estevez during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Frías FC's Paolo Estevez got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Gaston Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Dionisio Matxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosme Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Celedonio Ilixo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Hermengildo Pio sent off a good shot on target. Celedonio Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Ranser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Naelio came free, but Celedonio Ilixo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Pio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celedonio Ilixo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Osvaldo Gurutz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Frías FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
