Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornelio Dabi kicked off to start the match. The supporters of C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu booed when Horcones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Bernaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Koldobika scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute Baldomiro Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Geofredo in the 11th minute of play. Horcones's Hilario Chesus managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Freddy Celino in the 21 minute of the game. In the 25th minute, C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Placido Ricart seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Placido Ricart the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Placido Ricart had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Jairo Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Jairo Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Dabi in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Geofredo in the 36th minute of play forced Horcones's goalkeeper Modesto Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Chesus hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Wilfredo Eliazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Abeijon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Geofredo to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipe Duardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jairo Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute of the match Domingo Quico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Haimar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 54th minute, Ovidio Geofredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Horcones's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Eliazar came free, but Modesto Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Aballe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Leonides Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Horcones's zone, Fermin Gombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Abeijon came out of the goal and Fermin Gombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Abeijon having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Horcones got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Bernaldo. Felipe Duardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
