Ovidio Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ostargi having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Evaristo Bitxintxo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puelin the free kick. Evaristo Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Koldobika was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puelin the free kick. In the 8th minute, Baldomiro Koldobika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Angelino Bidari left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Puelin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 15th minute Isidoro Presebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ricart to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Isidoro Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puelin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Angelino Bidari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Haimar was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Esteban Urtsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Aballe. Angelino Bidari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Jose Beltza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puelin the free kick. After 32 played minutes C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu got a freekick which was hit by Jose Beltza. Jose Beltza hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Angelino Bidari might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Haimar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angelino Bidari ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Geofredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Ostargi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Dalmacio Natanael made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Haimar. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Puelin's Esteban Urtsin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Ovidio Geofredo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Jairo Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Bidari in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Bidari was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Puelin's Esteban Urtsin got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Puelin's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Geofredo came free, but Denis Ostargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Geofredo charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Geofredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ovidio Geofredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Ostargi. Puelin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Denis Ostargi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu's Baldomiro Koldobika. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Koldobika quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 78th minute, Angelino Bidari fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Haimar, passed just outside the right post. Puelin's Denis Ostargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Geofredo in the 79th minute of play. Wilfredo Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C.A. Padrin de Chapaleufu getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Placido Ricart hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Angelino Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
