Melquiades Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Indar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melmac FC's Melquiades Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Uzuri in the 25th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Lázaro Illan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Melmac FC's Melquiades Barea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cornelio Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Barea having to interfere. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Serafo to make the kick off. Titán F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Serafo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Melquiades Barea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cornelio Uzuri's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lázaro Illan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Barea. That made the score 2-3 in the 79 minute of play. Felipe Acevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Melquiades Barea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Indar in the 93rd minute. In the 96th minute Filiberto Ceandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
