Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lorenzo Gagriel took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute Juan Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Edgardo Breogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Breogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cienaguilla! If Lorenzo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Gagriel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Laurendi having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla's Edgardo Breogan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Laurendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, GPS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Elodio to maneuver through the defense. In the 38thth minute of the game Edgardo Breogan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GPS FC's Godfredo Laurendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godfredo Laurendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Gagriel in the 41st minute of play. If Edgardo Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Edwardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, GPS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Garin to maneuver through the defense. Godfredo Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Gagriel in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla's Edgardo Breogan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Laurendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 59 minutes, Edgardo Breogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramiro Errolan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind GPS FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Laurendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lorenzo Gagriel scored 1-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Laurendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Edwardo in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Esteban Reynardo made a precise shot to the right of Dante Mercurio. Cienaguilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Esteban Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GPS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute Lorenzo Gagriel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cienaguilla's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
