Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Amador Izotz made the kick off which started today's match. Braulio Matia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Gonzo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sandaili in the 8th minute of play forced Rancios CdB's goalkeeper Leon Gonzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Juan Sandaili came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the El Pirata Cordobes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Sandaili couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Juan Sandaili cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leon Gonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leon Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Matia's late challenge caught a Rancios CdB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braulio Matia helped the player get up and apologised. Rancios CdB made a substitution. Constantino Vermudo replaced Osvaldo Austin. In the 22nd match minute, El Pirata Cordobes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Matia to maneuver through the defense. Rancios CdB's Amador Izotz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Leon Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Ulizes struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Leon Gonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pirata Cordobes. El Pirata Cordobes's Gualterio Nel got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Tomás Toribio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rancios CdB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pirata Cordobes the free kick. In the 37th minute, Tomás Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Matia to make the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Braulio Matia from a close distance when the talented Leon Gonzo managed to make a qualified save. Rancios CdB's players were relieved. Leon Gonzo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Hunfredo. Braulio Matia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Sandaili kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leon Gonzo. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Pirata Cordobes's Juan Sandaili got a free kick in the 64th minute. Braulio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Leon Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Ladio in the 72nd minute of play forced El Pirata Cordobes's goalkeeper Leonardo Perpinya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rancios CdB's zone, Braulio Matia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Gonzo came out of the goal and Braulio Matia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Braulio Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pirata Cordobes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Matia got free with Leon Gonzo in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Rancios CdB getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nicasio Laurendi hit a great ball.
