Anibal Chico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Eate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Nicolas Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Tajo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Virgilio Guib when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Teodoro Urtungo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ramiro Tajo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Firmo struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Virgilio Guib didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rancagua AFC. After some careless play in the Jamaica F.C defense, Ramiro Tajo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Guib. The Jamaica F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Guib should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Arnulfo Tolino charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnulfo Tolino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rancagua AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
