The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Castulo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Jonas Ranolfo scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Atauri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nunez Txerran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Atauri having to make a save. The Petyuam fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Petyuam's Jesus Lluc looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 21 minutes into the match, Petyuam's goalkeeper Eustacio Piorno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Pirmin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Lluc in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Atauri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hugo Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Jesus Lluc notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ROSARINOS's Mateo Atauri. Mateo Atauri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jesus Lluc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Sagrario in the 33rd minute of play forced Petyuam's goalkeeper Eustacio Piorno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 35 played minutes ROSARINOS got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Kusko. Jonas Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Atauri having to interfere. Joel Sagrario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Piorno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Nunez Txerran made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Atauri. ROSARINOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After having played for 60 minutes, Jesus Lluc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petyuam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesus Lluc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Lluc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Mateo Atauri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, ROSARINOS's Mateo Atauri got control of the ball when Jesus Lluc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jesus Lluc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Atauri having to interfere. Eustacio Piorno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Mateo Atauri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Ranolfo in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Jesus Lluc lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Mateo Atauri. After a defensive mix-up in ROSARINOS's zone, Jesus Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Atauri came out of the goal and Jesus Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Leoncio charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Leoncio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th minute of the game, Petyuam got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Petyuam played a much better game than ROSARINOS and deserved their victory. The ROSARINOS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
