Spectators: 7355 (Terracing: 5517, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erubiel Raulo started the match with the kick off. Antonio Espiridion charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Espiridion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sampachoto FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Antonio Espiridion hit a great ball. Carlos Tipi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Jairo Urbez hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 14th play minutes Erubiel Raulo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Carlos Tipi and just under the crossbar into goal. Erubiel Raulo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Sampachoto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jairo Urbez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Leopoldo Astigar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Anier Cloyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Astigar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Froilan Ezkerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Erubiel Raulo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Antonio Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sampachoto FC's Leopoldo Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Ezkerra in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Era hasta los 40's zone, Erubiel Raulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Tipi came out of the goal and Erubiel Raulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Carlos Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erubiel Raulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Carlos Tipi made a huge save. Era hasta los 40's Carlos Tipi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Era hasta los 40 from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Era hasta los 40 got a freekick which was hit by Anier Cloyo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Nicanor Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jairo Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Era hasta los 40's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Urbez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Ezkerra in the 54th minute. Antonio Espiridion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carlos Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Era hasta los 40 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Jairo Urbez hit a great ball. Carlos Tipi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Raulo in the 65th minute of play. Carlos Tipi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sampachoto FC's Everardo Orlondo. But to his dismay, Everardo Orlondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Sampachoto FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nicanor Errapel hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Era hasta los 40's Leopoldo Astigar threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Urbez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leopoldo Astigar made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Froilan Ezkerra sent off a good shot on target. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sampachoto FC fully deserved thier win.
