El Dragón del Sur's Aritz Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Napier in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Núñez FC booed when El Dragón del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Oinaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Aaron Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aritz Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Romeo Costante got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ciriaco Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. El Dragón del Sur's Igor Oinaz got his second yellow card of the match in the 14th minute. The referee ordered Igor Oinaz off the ground. In the 15th match minute, El Dragón del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of El Dragón del Sur booed when Núñez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Núñez FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ryan Giggs 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryan Giggs in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Herauso saved Núñez FC from getting behind. In the 37th play minute Ryan Giggs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ciriaco Herauso. 3-0. Romeo Costante struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Ciriaco Herauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Dragón del Sur. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eulalio Jakes in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aritz Casado saved El Dragón del Sur from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eulalio Jakes was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ryan Giggs put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ciriaco Herauso. Romeo Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Núñez FC's Isidoro Dodorol got a free kick in the 60th minute. When El Dragón del Sur's Ryan Giggs in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. El Dragón del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Giggs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Herauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Núñez FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Cordarrel. 83 minutes into the game, El Dragón del Sur's Ryan Giggs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Herauso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Romeo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Giggs in the 92nd minute of the match. Ciriaco Herauso came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Dragón del Sur's Ryan Giggs. But to his dismay, Ryan Giggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After a rather tough play, El Dragón del Sur's Lázaro Oihan got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that El Dragón del Sur were the better team. El Dragón del Sur's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
