In the 8thth minute of the game Rodrigo Ermano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PaGas FC's Edelmiro Iruinea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edelmiro Iruinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Damario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Inautzi in the 17th minute of the match. Edelmiro Iruinea came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Barril's Rodrigo Ermano. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Ermano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PaGas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Barril the free kick. Silverio Gaizko kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Aristides Poncio struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Felipe Damario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PaGas FC. 32 minutes in the game Silverio Gaizko did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leonides Stephen. Aristides Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Damario didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Inautzi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Leonides Stephen's late challenge caught a PaGas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Stephen helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Real Barril got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Stephen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ermano in the 48th minute of play forced PaGas FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Iruinea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vicente Inautzi was the one to do the kick off. Felipe Damario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Inautzi in the 58th minute of play. PaGas FC's Edelmiro Iruinea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save PaGas FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Real Barril's Vicente Garin got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Victorino Estavan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the PaGas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Estavan couldn't finish the play. Victorino Estavan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Rodrigo Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Barril's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Arias in the 75th minute of play forced Real Barril's goalkeeper Felipe Damario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Real Barril's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Lertxun came free, but Felipe Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Real Barril booed when PaGas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Lertxun in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Damario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Reynaldo Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Vicente Inautzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Damario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in PaGas FC's zone, Rodrigo Ermano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Iruinea came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ermano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PaGas FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
