Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Clodoveo Mikeldi made the kick off which started today's match. Pontevedra F.C.'s Hernan Librado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Pontevedra F.C. from getting a goal against them. Leonel Peio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ricardo Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Pontevedra F.C. got a corner. Nottingham Forres FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Astor Donostia ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Astor Donostia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonel Peio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lucas Chorache hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Mikeldi came free, but Leonel Peio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontevedra F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Higinio Mede scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Librado, making the score, 1-0. Javier Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hernan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nottingham Forres FC's Leonel Peio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Feliu in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Higinio Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nottingham Forres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Mede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Librado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Javier Benet made the kick off in the second half. Hernan Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Benet, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Nottingham Forres FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Samuel Presebal hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Javier Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astor Donostia made in the 67th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nottingham Forres FC's Apolo Valente. In the 68thth minute of the game Javier Benet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pontevedra F.C.'s Hernan Librado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Chorache in the 84th minute of play forced Pontevedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernan Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Librado came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Nottingham Forres FC's Javier Benet. But to his dismay, Javier Benet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Nottingham Forres FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
