Atilano Lertxun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Librado having to interfere. Genaro Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Inautzi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Librado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th match minute, Pontevedra F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Vasco to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes, PaGas FC's Victorino Estavan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Librado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PaGas FC reached it. 16 minutes into the game, PaGas FC's Vicente Inautzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernan Librado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 19th minute, Clodoveo Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Librado came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by PaGas FC's Vicente Inautzi. But to his dismay, Vicente Inautzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Angel Monico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hernan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Pontevedra F.C.'s Hernan Librado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Lertxun in the 31st minute of play. When Jose Vasco fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pontevedra F.C.'s protests and gave Jose Vasco a yellow card for diving instead. Jose Vasco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Vicente Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hernan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Vicente Inautzi made a precise shot to the right of Hernan Librado. Pontevedra F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Mikeldi was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. PaGas FC's Vicente Inautzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Edelmiro Iruinea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, PaGas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Argina came free, but Edelmiro Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pontevedra F.C.'s Jonathan Sergi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Atilano Lertxun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hernan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, PaGas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Mikeldi came free, but Edelmiro Iruinea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoveo Mikeldi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edelmiro Iruinea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontevedra F.C.. Genaro Argina's late challenge caught a PaGas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Argina helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pontevedra F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Genaro Argina hit a great ball. Vicente Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PaGas FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
