The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Dantel in the 5th minute of play forced Greinfc's goalkeeper Prospero Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greinfc's Alvaro Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Teobaldo Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Dantel in the 11th minute. A collision led to Greinfc getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Aquiles Aritza hit a great ball. Prospero Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Dantel in the 17th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Benigno Lucado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Teobaldo Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Siro Peli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greinfc the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Greinfc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Bernard to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Greinfc's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Dantel came free, but Prospero Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Aquiles Aritza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Gora struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Flavio Aztore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greinfc. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Dantel made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Teobaldo Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hipolito Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA's Flavio Aztore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA from getting a goal against them. Prospero Argoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Teobaldo Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Dantel couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Greinfc's zone, Teobaldo Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Argoitz came out of the goal and Teobaldo Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA's Narciso Oxel got a free kick in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Dantel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alvaro Asier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. JUVENTUD DE MADARIAGA had won after a very even match.
