The penalty shot was made by Silvano Telesforo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Independiente's Francisco Bieito. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Savier in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Bieito saved Independiente from getting behind. In the 16th minute Isidoro Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Bieito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Tadeo Mel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Espadas De Luz FC's Claudio Guzman. Claudio Guzman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Ladislao Evangelista reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Guzman. The goal made the score 2-1. The referee ignored Independiente's protests and gave Ladislao Evangelista a yellow card for diving instead. Ladislao Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 37 minutes of play, Espadas De Luz FC's Silvano Telesforo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Bieito was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Teodosio Lander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Telesforo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Evangelista in the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Savier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Bieito. That made the score 3-5 in the 77 minute of play. Isidoro Savier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Francisco Bieito made a huge save. In the 91stth minute of the game Tadeo Mel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espadas De Luz FC's Claudio Guzman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Independiente supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Espadas De Luz FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Espadas De Luz FC.
