But to his dismay, Julio Valery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Octavio Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Claris struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Melchor Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavio Claris's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Rudolfo in the 46th minute of play forced Marga FC's goalkeeper Erubiel Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Erubiel Veremundo made a huge save. After the first half Marga FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Octavio Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Melchor Mercurio made a huge save. Victorio Tabor hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes Azulcuesta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Izel. Octavio Claris scored 0-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melchor Mercurio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marga FC's Octavio Claris came free and shot a quick shot against goal 95 minutes in the game, fortunately Melchor Mercurio had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Marga FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
