In the 4th minute of the match Roberto Umbruso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma AFC's zone, Sixto Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Fernandez came out of the goal and Sixto Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Orain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Teofilo Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Luzea's late challenge caught a Ledesma AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Augusto Farias from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Miguel Macerio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Marco Quirce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Miguel Macerio made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in PierRock's zone, Marco Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Macerio came out of the goal and Marco Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ledesma AFC's Marco Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alejo Banegas fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PierRock's protests and gave Alejo Banegas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PierRock's Alejo Banegas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Victor Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulgencio Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 46th minute Teofilo Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Teofilo Orain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Kimetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teofilo Orain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fulgencio Fernandez came out and tried to block the shot, but Teofilo Orain slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ledesma AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Jerano. In the 60th minute, Fulgencio Jerano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PierRock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 65th minute Teofilo Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Quirce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sixto Poz charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sixto Poz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ledesma AFC booed when PierRock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Poz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ledesma AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fulgencio Jerano. With a little luck, Ledesma AFC's Fulgencio Fernandez got control of the ball when Fulgencio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 played minutes, Ledesma AFC's Tomás Ordono shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Macerio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ledesma AFC reached it. If Fulgencio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ledesma AFC's Fulgencio Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Ledesma AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute of the match Augusto Farias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Macerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ledesma AFC's Fulgencio Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Ledesma AFC from getting a goal against them. The PierRock players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
