The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Isauro got free with Anier Hever in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ariel Lehoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anier Hever. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. When Inocencio Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medinas AFC's protests and gave Inocencio Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. Inocencio Erasto hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Medinas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Ticho.

The excitement rose when Chaco Arg FC's Benjamin Dunixi after 100 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Medinas AFC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. There was no doubt that Chaco Arg FC were the better team. Chaco Arg FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
