Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emi Fc's Carlos Cibran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. If Miguel Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Maipú's Miguel Rozarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Emi Fc's zone, Primitivo Bizi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Arias came out of the goal and Primitivo Bizi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Bizi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Joaquin Arias made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ciriaco Cilio sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Maipú's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Ignazio came free, but Ambrosio Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Erasmo Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emi Fc's Joaquin Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Rozarius in the 30th minute of play. When Erasmo Lluciano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Maipú fans jumped to their feet. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Emi Fc's goalkeeper Joaquin Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primitivo Bizi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Emi Fc's Joaquin Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Rozarius in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Emi Fc's zone, Ciriaco Cilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Arias came out of the goal and Ciriaco Cilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Bizi made a kick off. Primitivo Bizi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Arias having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Erasmo Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maipú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Lluciano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes, Maipú's Carlos Berenguer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joaquin Arias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maipú reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Emi Fc's zone, Ciriaco Cilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Arias came out of the goal and Ciriaco Cilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Primitivo Bizi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maipú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Joaquin Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lluciano in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Maipú's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Cibran came free, but Ambrosio Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maipú's Ambrosio Jerrold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Maipú from getting a goal against them. Miguel Rozarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Arias having to make a save. Erasmo Lluciano struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Joaquin Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maipú. Primitivo Bizi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Arias having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Emi Fc's Faustino Gaitan got a free kick in the 88th minute. Joaquin Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Maipú players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
