Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teofilo Orain took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Aquilino Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ánimas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Bonadona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Macerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Medero during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute Esteban Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Aquilino Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteban Estevez in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Macerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ánimas FC's Adan Silvanito got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ramiro Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Jerano in the 18th minute. Aquilino Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Macerio having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Esteban Estevez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PierRock's Miguel Macerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aquilino Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ánimas FC's zone, Fulgencio Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Ongile came out of the goal and Fulgencio Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquilino Bonadona might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Macerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Bonadona ran back to his position shaking his head.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Bonadona to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in PierRock's zone, Esteban Estevez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Macerio came out of the goal and Esteban Estevez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PierRock's Miguel Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Bonadona in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to PierRock getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Adrian Birila hit a great ball. Aquilino Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adan Silvanito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aquilino Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Silvanito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Macerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ramiro Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Orain in the 76th minute of play. Ramiro Ongile came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by PierRock's Fulgencio Jerano. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Jerano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Jerano in the 83rd minute of play forced Ánimas FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Macerio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a rather tough play, PierRock's Alejo Banegas got a free kick in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the PierRock defense, Adan Silvanito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Macerio. The PierRock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Macerio should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute Teofilo Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Ánimas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than PierRock throughout the match.
