Moises Abar charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 13th match minute, Ánimas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes of play, Ánimas FC's Esteban Estevez made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ambrosio Jerrold was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Estevez in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Jerrold saved Maipú from getting behind. Ambrosio Jerrold came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ánimas FC's Aquilino Bonadona. But to his dismay, Aquilino Bonadona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Ánimas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Bizi made a kick off. If Miguel Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Jerrold didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Estevez went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Primitivo Bizi came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Maipú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Bizi couldn't finish the play. Miguel Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Ongile having to interfere. If Adan Silvanito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Ongile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Bizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Maipú's Ambrosio Jerrold got control of the ball when Esteban Estevez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96 played minutes Maipú got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Garin. The Maipú fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ánimas FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
