Spectators: 7183 (Terracing: 5495, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teofilo Orain started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Orain in the 6th minute of play forced Emi Fc's goalkeeper Joaquin Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Emi Fc getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Faustino Gaitan hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, PierRock's Benedicto Jaen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Teofilo Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joaquin Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teofilo Orain hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Ignazio during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Ignazio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Fulgencio Jerano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Millano during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PierRock booed when Emi Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fulgencio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind PierRock's goalkeeper Miguel Macerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Teofilo Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Cibran fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Macerio, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 36 minutes, Fulgencio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PierRock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Jerano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teofilo Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Ignazio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Cibran to make the kick off. PierRock's Miguel Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Ignazio in the 52nd minute of play. Teofilo Orain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Teofilo Orain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Arias. Teofilo Orain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. When Teofilo Orain came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the PierRock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Orain couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Teofilo Orain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Arias. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 83rd minute, Teofilo Orain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Orain's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the PierRock players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
