Spectators: 7381 (Terracing: 5537, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) Guido Oro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Nestor Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fernando Jerardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Justo Maureo. In the 7th minute, Omar Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Adolfo Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpikus's Adolfo Chuse got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Artizar in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Jerardo saved Club Olimpikus from getting behind. Arnulfo Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jerardo having to interfere. If Omar Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Omar Artizar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Jerardo. Club Olimpikus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Artizar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Omar Artizar sped through Club Olimpikus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernando Jerardo. If Omar Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Viviano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Jerardo having to make a save. After having played for 36 minutes, Omar Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Artizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Fernando Jerardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Artizar's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st match minute, Club Olimpikus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Artizar in the 44th minute of play forced Club Olimpikus's goalkeeper Fernando Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Jerardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Artizar's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Omar Artizar succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Artizar to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Omar Artizar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Olimpikus's Fernando Jerardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Racing's Omar Artizar in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Olimpikus's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Jerardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Artizar in the 60th minute of the match. Omar Artizar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jerardo having to interfere. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Racing's Rosendo Viviano fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Fernando Jerardo came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Racing's Omar Artizar. But to his dismay, Omar Artizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Racing's Adan Estavan was substituted for Omar Artizar. Adan Estavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fernando Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Adan Estavan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Jerardo was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Adan Estavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fernando Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Estavan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Jerardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Racing's Arnulfo Piarres got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Estavan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Jerardo having to make a save. Club Olimpikus's Fernando Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Estavan in the 84th minute of play. Fernando Jerardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Piarres in the 85th minute of play. Racing's Fabian Assmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing from getting a goal against them. When Racing's Adan Estavan in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Olimpikus's goalie prevented a goal. Adan Estavan struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Fernando Jerardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing.
