When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Paulo Pelagius sped through La pelota siempre al Díez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Inocencio Lidon. The supporters of Mogote FC booed when La pelota siempre al Díez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Baleren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote FC's zone, Lisandro Frisco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Papo came out of the goal and Lisandro Frisco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mariano Baleren was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Inocencio Lidon stood somewhat misplaced when Aureliano Quintan came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Paulo Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Inocencio Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogote FC. If Aureliano Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind La pelota siempre al Díez's goalkeeper Inocencio Lidon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Paulo Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paulo Pelagius struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Inocencio Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogote FC. In the 93rd minute, Edgard Tirso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Lidon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Paulo Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The La pelota siempre al Díez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mogote FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
