Club Olimpikus's Natalio Quintana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amadeo Adrio but with some difficulty. In the 9th match minute, Piñalitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Teofilio to maneuver through the defense. Piñalitos's Amadeo Adrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Piñalitos from getting a goal against them. When Aldo Bautista came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Piñalitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Bautista couldn't finish the play. Piñalitos's Justo Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldo Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fernando Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Bautista struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Fernando Jerardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñalitos. Piñalitos's Amadeo Adrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Piñalitos from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Aldo Bautista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piñalitos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Club Olimpikus's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Prejun came free, but Fernando Jerardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amadeo Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Oro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clodoveo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aldo Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernando Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Aldo Bautista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jerardo having to interfere. Aldo Bautista got in the 44th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fernando Jerardo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Piñalitos's Amadeo Adrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Piñalitos from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Oro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Prejun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jerardo having to interfere. Aldo Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, German Blai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñalitos's supporters rose to their feet, but German Blai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Jerardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aldo Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. After 70 minutes, Armando Incendio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpikus and the Piñalitos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Olimpikus's Armando Incendio got a free kick in the 70th minute. A hard shot 71 in the game by Aldo Bautista from a close distance when the talented Fernando Jerardo managed to make a qualified save. Club Olimpikus's players were relieved. In the 74th minute, Guido Oro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Olimpikus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Piñalitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justo Teofilio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Aldo Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aldo Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Bautista got free with Fernando Jerardo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Raphael in the 91st minute of play forced Piñalitos's goalkeeper Amadeo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Jerardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Prejun in the 94th minute of play. Piñalitos were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Olimpikus to leave the ground with a draw.
