After having played for 14 minutes, Ramon Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fray Luis Beltrán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Emmanuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Balasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Jerardo having to make a save. Club Olimpikus's Fernando Jerardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpikus from getting a goal against them. Fernando Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Emmanuel in the 34th minute of the match. Ramon Emmanuel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Jerardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernando Jerardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Emmanuel's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Maximiliano Rafe lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fray Luis Beltrán! In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Club Olimpikus. Natalio Quintana stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iker Oihan. 1-1. Fernando Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Henrico in the 66th minute of the match. If Eliseo Henrico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Ciro Balasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fray Luis Beltrán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Ciro Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Henrico in the 78th minute of play forced Club Olimpikus's goalkeeper Fernando Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edelmiro Pelayo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fray Luis Beltrán's protests and gave Edelmiro Pelayo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fray Luis Beltrán's Edelmiro Pelayo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Ramon Emmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Eliseo Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fray Luis Beltrán's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
